PD Dr. Hui Khee Looe

Priv.-Doz. Dr. Hui Khee Looe is a Medical Physics Expert at the Clinic of Radiation Therapy of Pius Hospital Oldenburg, where he also serves as the deputy head of the University Clinic of Medical Physics of the University Hospital of Carl von Ossietzky University in Oldenburg.

He is the leader of the research group Computational Methods in Modern Dosimetry with a focus on the application of Monte Carlo simulations to study detectors’ behavior under various conditions, such as in small fields, in the presence of a magnetic field, in particle beams, etc. He also serves as a university
lecturer (PD) and supervisor of postdoctoral researchers, Master’s and Bachelor’s theses at the University of Oldenburg.

He is the German coordinator for DosiMagic, and his role involves leading WP 3, which focuses on investigating the detectors‘ response in a magnetic field and their underlying mechanisms.
