Panagiotis obtained an M. Sc. in Physics and Engineering in Medicine from the University College London in the United Kingdom in 2024. In his project thesis, he developed Monte Carlo simulations to dosimetrically assess the use of MultiLeaf collimators in passive scattering beamlines dedicated to ocular proton therapy. His B. Sc. in Physics was completed in the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens in Greece in 2023. His interests are experimental measurements as well as Monte Carlo simulations for radiation dosimetry in particle therapy.
He joined the DosiMagic collaboration in the beginning of October 2025 as a PhD student of the Department of Radiation Oncology in Medical University of Vienna, Austria.
He is responsible for the experimental investigation of the effects of magnetic fields on radiation detector response performed in the MedAustron Ion Therapy Center in Wiener Neustadt, Austria (WP 2).
